1. Energy Efficiency and Low-Impact Solutions:

   • Circle B advises customers on selecting energy-efficient solutions, such as using OCP hardware, which is designed to reduce power consumption and improve performance-per-watt ratios.
   • We advocate for the design and use of data centres with high energy efficiency, including options like Free Air cooling and the implementation of high-efficiency power supplies with at least 90% efficiency.
   • We optimise our software and hardware solutions to minimize idle power usage and ensure that servers are only operational when necessary, reducing overall energy consumption.

2. Sustainable IT Infrastructure:

   • Circle B promotes the adoption of OCP hardware, which supports the principles of openness and sustainability by reducing the total cost of ownership and extending the lifecycle of IT equipment.
   • We provide solutions that consolidate and optimize hardware usage, thereby reducing the physical footprint of data centres and minimising waste.

3. Waste Reduction and Recycling:

   • Circle B is committed to reducing electronic waste by ensuring that all IT equipment is reused or recycled wherever possible. We work closely with partners to facilitate the responsible disposal of electronic waste in compliance with WEEE regulations.
   • We encourage our clients to adopt practices that maximise the reuse of equipment and minimise the need for new resources, thereby reducing the overall environmental impact.

   • Circle B adheres to all relevant environmental regulations, including the WEEE Directive and RoHS Directive, to minimize the impact of our operations on the environment.
